The folks that run this website are not a corporate conglomerate, in fact quite the opposite. We are just a small group that put this website together out of an interest in helping our community and being good neighbors.

* IMPORTANT NOTE ON BARTERING:
We also do consider bartering advertising for goods or services that we need. BUT be aware that ALL barter transactions are claimed on our taxes and we would cooperate fully with any tax investigation. Everything is to be ON THE BOOKS, LEGAL, and ABOVE-BOARD.

Where the barter includes services normal full written contracts will be required. We do NOT do business with folks that are unwilling to provide proof of their insurance, state contractor licensing, liability insurance, workman's comp, bonding where needed or required, and certifications where required. All building permits must be secured and all inspections will be done. In short this is honest and on the up-and up. Nothing less.

Bartering Needs:
The following are current needs that we would consider bartering advertising for - again only fully licensed and fully insured contractors need apply:

Plumbing work: In the next several years we would like to make the following improvements that have to do with plumbing:
1) Add a washtub/sink to our garage
2) Change a shower valve to a new one
3) Drop in 2 new bathroom sinks
4) Add an exterior faucet in our backyard
5) We will need a new water heater installed at some point

Masonry/Tile: We need to remove the vinyl flooring and the tile in our entryway/kitchen/dinette area and have it retiled with ceramic tile.

Electrical Work: In the next several years we would like to make the following improvements that have to do with electrical:
1) Add a 220 Volt outlet to the garage
2) Add one or possibly two exterior lights to the backyard with interior switches
3) Add one or two exterior plug outlets to our home
4) Add a ceiling light to our living room with switch on opposite wall.

Concrete Work:
1) We would like to put a 2 foot wide walkway around the exterior of our house in the back yard where it does not exist (approx 90 feet)

Roofing:
1) We will need a new roof someday
