Two Tule Elk Bucks lay in the grass at the Elk Enclosure at the San Luis National Wildlife Preserve. The Tule Elk are a protected species and it is a real treat to be able to see them up close. You can get views like this even with cheap binoculars on a regular basis if you visit the refuge.
