In March of 2008, we went to the AKC-Licensed Retriever Hunting Test at North Grasslands Wildlife Area in the salt slough. What an interesting event. This was the "masters" level and if I understood the two gentlemen that were telling me about what was going on it turns out that this is the highest level before the nationals for this sort of retriever event.

Watching such highly trained animals was a joy.
