We'd also like to mention that Los Banos moms and children meet regularly each week for Park Day (Children's Play Dates) at select parks and playgrounds throughout the year. While park days are well attended by homeschooled children, you certainly do NOT have to be a homeschooling family to attend! Just bring your kids, there is certainly room for everyone!
Mothers, caretakers and children from the ages of infant to older teenagers are welcome to join in. Homeschoolers of all ages are also encouraged to take a look at this page as this is a perfect opportunity to socialize and participate in scheduled activities! Los Banos Ca. is continuing to grow (and grow and grow and...) so we anticipate the OurLosBanos.com list of parks will grow as well. The City of Los Banos California has done extremely well in providing improved city park facilities in Los Banos.
Los Banos benefits from having more than 160 acres of neighborhood parks according to Mayor Michael Amabile's State of the City address in 2006. These parks are very well maintained on the whole and offer residents all manner of activities from baseball, to horseshoes, to a purpose-designed skateboarding facility. The City Of Los Banos has an exceptional program in place that encourages builders to add small parks to each housing development. The staff of Our LosBanos .com is 100 percent behind this policy and we believe that this is a critically important program to keep that policy in place.
We have personally visited each park this town and noted what facilities and amenities it offers, what sports and activities it might support, and what equipment is available. We then developed a webpage for each city park and on these pages we have included original photographs of each park as well as our opinions and comments about what we observed.
