I've got some new printables up on the copywork page. I got a request for cursive alphabet handwriting pages so I went ahead and made a bunch. That puts us at over 200 printables!

I've also added a link to Mammoth Math on my math curriculum links page. They have a contest going on where you can win a free workbook by mentioning a page of the site in your blog or on your website (which is what I'm doing here, LOL).
O.K. I'd like to win a workbook, specifically the following one: Multiplication Division 2 workbook, however I've been meaning to link to them anyway *grin*. (Really I have!)
I discovered their site through WinterPromise and then browsed the free samples. I must admit I'm a math junkie and here is yet another curriculum that appeals to me. The workbooks seem to have very easy to understand explanations that are geared to the STUDENT, which is something I really like. Take a moment and check them out.

There is a LOT of work going on behind the scenes! I'm busy putting up pictures of most of the books and materials in the history section and linking them to Amazon. Your purchases through this site will help keep all of the materials free for everyone and justify the bandwith. ;-)
What's really nifty is that you will be able to hover over a link and see the current prices. I saw some of the books selling used for as low as 37 cents!

I'd also like to thank JennLovesJesus who mentioned our handwriting / copywork pages in her blog. Check it out!

Because of her nice complements I'm motivated to get some more handwriting pages made up! LOL! Look for those in the next couple of weeks.

There is a new "blog" entry on free curriculums and materials you can use in your homeschool. Almost all of us are on a budget! I know I really appreciate all of the time, talent and labor others have put into providing materials like this to the rest of us. Thank-you to all you fellow homeschoolers and educators who have put this stuff online!

We've got some more math counters to help teach all sorts of math concepts: counting, sorting, patterns, multiplication, division and more. Check out the yummy "flavors" on our math printables page! We have blueberry, cookie (with chocolate chips of course), grape, green apple, lemonade, orange marmalade and strawberry (besides last week's milk chocolate)!

Our first emailed request came in for the copywork section to feature Italic copywork pages. I'm in the process of making all our current sheets in a Getty-Dubay style italic print and cursive font. Enjoy and a big thanks to Sherri for writing! Click here to go to our copywork / handwriting sheet page. It will take us awhile to convert all of the pages, so please be patient! :-)
