Listen to some pan-pipe music when you get to the part where the minstrel is visiting Cusi and Chuto. I recommend the following site that has free streaming music that is a pleasant introduction to pan-pipes.

Science.IF you watch the Secrets of Lost Empires DVD, you may want to do this fun activity: "Hang in There" (after viewing the segment where they build a bridge from twisted grass). Build a suspension bridge out of newspaper strips and experiment with ways to make it stronger.
