Map notes: Ptolomy's Map Print out this map created by Ptolomy for your child's notebook. Use it to show how people thought the world was much smaller than it really is. Compare the map to a modern map or globe. What's missing from Ptolomy's map?

Notebooking notes:

A ship to cut, paste and put together (flat for notebooking)- This will help with ship vocabulary and is also fun to try and figure out how the pieces go. Look up ships online or in a book as a reference if you wish.
