Here is your jumping off point for some great links. I am only going to include links that I think are "worthwhile" (you know how sometimes lists of links can contain a lot of JUNK). Of course what I'm including is in my own taste! ;-)

It is truly amazing what you can find online "nowadays". You could, theoretically, homeschool for free with just the Internet, your local library and life!

Need to learn your times tables? Want to read a classic book? Want some materials for your high schooler who'd like to take an AP test? Not sure what to do with your toddler while big brother is studying? Need to know how to get crayon out of a carpet RIGHT NOW? You can find just about anything to do with what you are looking for. The problem is finding the nuggets hidden in the reams of garbage.

Hopefully I can help make that a little easier for you by sharing what I've found here and there!

To qualify, a site has to offer something like useful downloads, a well designed online game or activity, good quality worksheets or other printables or great and helpful information. It should be well designed and organized (although I might include some exceptions if the materials or information available make it worth slogging around).

I have spent a lot of time online looking for resources to help me homeschool for free (as well as "how to" parent) and have found quite a few really great sites.
