your CVHS or homeschool event for inclusion on the calendar! Park
Day! Every Wednesday - 10 AM - Mothers and children of all ages meet in the park
to chat and let their kids play. Children of all ages are welcome from infant
to seventeen. Click here for more information. Meetings

have also listed some activities for Connecting Waters students and other events
that might be interesting to homeschoolers or families in general.

4 - Open House Fun at Triangle Rock You're invited to visit from 10-3pm
with free admission - rain or shine. There is a tour, exhibit, big machines,
free food, family fun! Fun for the entire family!! Take a walking tour of the
Los Banos plant. Join in fun activities and learn how rock is made at the mini-miner's
workshop tent. Play with Tonkas in the giant sandbox. Visit aggregates 101 and
follow the path of the rock from the ground to a concrete road. Enjoy a free bbq
lunch in the quarry cafe tent. Enter a raffle to win prizes, raffle prizes drawn
every hour. Bounce house and golf cart tours available. We're opening our
house to you for a behind the scenes look into the Triangle Rock Quarry. Learn
how we produce the crushed rock that is used to build and maintain your community
infrastructure, homes, schools and businesses as well as fuels the Los Banos economy.
We are proud of what we do and are committed to being a responsible neighbor.

7 - Mrs. Grossman's Sticker Factory & Charles M. Schulz Museum Field Trip.
We have a scheduled tour for the sticker factory in Petaluma @ 11:00 AM ($3.00
per person for ages 3 and up. With your admission ticket, you will receive a coupon
for $3.00 off purchases of $20.00 or more in the company store. Groups 10 to 25
will receive a 10% discount per person), and a scheduled tour & cartoon drawing
class @ The Schulz Museum in Santa Rosa ($4.00 per child, adults are free). We

p.m. Parent Support Meeting. Tonight's topic: organization. November
13 - Ardenwood Historic Farm Trip. Ardenwood Historic Farm offers an experience
like no other; it gives you a taste of farm life like it was 100 years ago. Draft
horses still pull wagons, railcars and plows. The grounds are graced by the historic
Patterson House, a unique mansion which has been restored to it's original elegance.
Celebrate the holiday season in Victorian style! Visit the beautifully decorated
Patterson House, sing Christmas carols, search for the Yule log and visit Father
Christmas. The day also includes holiday crafts, music and cooking demonstrations.
Where: Ardenwood Historic Farm, 34600 Ardenwood Blvd. Fremont, CA Time:
Meet at the entrance at 10:00am (Look for the "Connecting Waters" sign) Closing
time is 4:00pm. Cost: $9/adults (18+ years), $7/seniors (62+ year), $6/children

15 - This is the last day to submit your items to the CVHS newsletter for
the Kid's Corner & Parent's Corner section. This is where children
and parents can share information with the CVHS group. Feel free to share accomplishments,
awards, favorite poems, articles, stories, words of encouragement, etc. Please
email your submissions to Penny Delgado no later than the 15th of the month to
ensure it gets into the next month's newsletter. Penny's email
and phone number were sent out to the group. November 16
