There are eleven public schools serving Los Banos as well as a number of public charter schools (whose facilities are NOT in Los Banos). The schools discussed in this section are traditional public schools that have a physical building in Los Banos.
According to the official Los Banos Unified School District Website our school district's student population is growing by an average of 6.7% per year. As of the school year 2005-2006 there were 8,852 children enrolled.
