Education in Los Banos is varied. There are several schooling options for families to choose from including the local Los Banos public school system, private schools, charter schools and a thriving homeschool community. There is also a Los Banos campus for Merced Jr. College and UC Merced is building a satellite campus that should be completed in the future!

If you are a homeschooler you may want to click over to our extensive homeschooling section where you will find free curriculum and lots of other goodies and helps! Our homeschooling section is also a great place for parents, daycare workers, teachers and other educators who aren't involved in homeschooling, but looking for worksheets, lesson plans, educational activities, information, help, local activities (such as Park Days), downloads and more. A local homeschool group, the Los Banos Area Central Valley Home School Scholars has a publicly open calendar that the co-op uses.
