Is Asthma Camp? This camp is designed to provide an opportunity for children
with asthma to share ideas, problems, and concerns about asthma. Children
campers learn about asthma and asthma management through fun, interactive

about their child’s asthma and ways of managing it better so their

May 16 - New Life Community Church is holding its 2nd
annual Sister 2 Sister Tea. The tea will be held at the United Methodist Church
Social Hall at 1031 Iowa Street in Los Banos. Tickets are available for a donation
of $20. The speaker will be Terry Hammond and there will be special songs, drawings,

Fun Day at San Luis Reservoir from 8 a.m. to 12 noon. "Los Banos: Fun
will be the “catch of the day” on Saturday, May 16th at San Luis Reservoir
State Recreation Area. The 20th Annual Kids’ Fishing and Fun Day, hosted
by the Department of Water Resources and California State Parks staff and volunteers,
will be held at San Luis Creek on the O’Neill Forebay. Bring the family
and your fishing poles and enjoy a morning of fishing on the ‘lake’.
Children ages 3 to 15 may sign in from 8:00 a.m. on. Free bait is provided. Also,
each participant will receive a free lunch and other goodies.. There will
be free pontoon boat rides (weather permitting). Plus, kids may try ‘gyotaku’
the Japanese art of fish printing. Merchandise donated by local businesses will
also be awarded as door prizes, starting at noon. The only cost is the $6

Roundtable Second in a Series of Business Seminars sponsored by the Los Banos
Chamber of Commerce Leader: Diane Hambley, Marketing and Communications
Coordinator at Memorial Hospital Los Banos, has a Ph.D. in marketing and consulting
experience with small business owners all over the United States. As a Marketing
Professor, Diane led over 30 graduate and undergraduate student teams in the preparation
of very real marketing plans for a wide variety of businesses. For three
years she also worked overseas in Albania as the in-country leader for a development
project establishing business assistance centers in this very poor and underdeveloped

Point Man Ministries is a non-profit, Christ-centered group of Veterans from all
wars.There is group and private counseling for PTSD related problems, literature,
seminars, companionship, and comfort. Help with VA contacts, forming a Honor Guard,
educational information for the public on service related problems concerning
Veterans. And working with other Veterans organizations for the betterment of
the Veterans with special needs. Free Noncredit class: Fitness for seniors
(although class is open to adults of any age) The class occurs every Wednesday

Your Life Stories Class is held on Tuesdays and Thursdays by instructor John Spevak
at the Los Banos Merced College Campus, Building A, Room 103. The class is open
entry and held from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Persons register when they attend their first
class. This class provides the opportunity to write down stories in a relaxed
environment about life experiences to share with others, especially family members.
The class is designed for older adults but is open to adults of any age. For more
