1 - From Fusion and Fordwife : "Our Los Banos Forum Member Get together
Looks like the next get together is being held at our home! Seriously, Thanks
everybody for allowing us to host this event. The laid back social atmosphere
is always nice. I promise nobody will be left in the corner! OLB means alot to
us and we couldn't be happier to do it for our on-line family!!! We are looking
forward to having everybody in our home. As the event gets closer I will ask everybody
to let me know (or give an idea of some sort) what kind of dish you are making,
appetizer, salad, main course, dessert, etc. That way we don't have too much of
one type of dish... If anybody is wanting to volunteer let me know. I will also
need to know everybody planning on attending (names) so we can do some name tags
up. And if you are bringing a spouse. You can PM me or Fusion with that information
if you would like. Thanks Everybody!! Fordwife & Fusion" For members

"Originally
Posted by Dave -Friday's at the Fairgrounds is the local swap meet. Held year-round
at the fairgrounds. (Every Friday by the way.) Summer time finds us in the Carnie
Area of the fairgrounds. Winter we move over to the Livestock Area, so we can
duck into the barns if the weather forgets our rules and some of that wet stuff
(rain) falls out of the sky. Setup time for sellers begins at about 2pm while
we officially open to the public at 4pm. Closing time is 8pm, but history reminds
me to say that sometimes some of our vendors will leave earlier during the Winter,
if it's slow. "What is sold at Friday's?" I answered some livestock auctioneers
(selling replacement cows to our local dairies, one Friday) that one will find
just about any and everything as long as it's not illegal or otherwise restricted.
So I guess we have livestock at times, to food just about every Friday, to produce,
to clothing, to furniture, to tools, to music, to --- well, I think you get the
idea. Dave AKA "Cowboy" @ Friday's....."
