The Bible In One Year Bible Reading For Day Number - 357 Zechariah
-- 3{1} And he
shewed me Joshua the high priest standing before the angel of the LORD, and Satan
standing at his right hand to resist him. {2} And the LORD said unto
Satan, The LORD rebuke thee, O Satan; even the LORD that hath chosen Jerusalem
rebuke thee: is not this a brand plucked out of the fire? {3} Now Joshua
was clothed with filthy garments, and stood before the angel. {4} And
he answered and spake unto those that stood before him, saying, Take away the
filthy garments from him. And unto him he said, Behold, I have caused thine iniquity
to pass from thee, and I will clothe thee with change of raiment. {5}
And I said, Let them set a fair mitre upon his head. So they set a fair mitre
upon his head, and clothed him with garments. And the angel of the LORD stood
by. {6} And the angel of the LORD protested unto Joshua, saying,
{7} Thus saith the LORD of hosts; If thou wilt walk in my ways, and if
thou wilt keep my charge, then thou shalt also judge my house, and shalt also
keep my courts, and I will give thee places to walk among these that stand by.
{8} Hear now, O Joshua the high priest, thou, and thy fellows that sit
before thee: for they are men wondered at: for, behold, I will bring forth my
servant the BRANCH. {9} For behold the stone that I have laid before
Joshua; upon one stone shall be seven eyes: behold, I will engrave the graving
thereof, saith the LORD of hosts, and I will remove the iniquity of that land
in one day. {10} In that day, saith the LORD of hosts, shall ye call
every man his neighbour under the vine and under the fig tree.
Zechariah -- 4{1}
And the angel that talked with me came again, and waked me, as a man that is wakened
out of his sleep, {2} And said unto me, What seest thou? And I said,
I have looked, and behold a candlestick all of gold, with a bowl upon the top
of it, and his seven lamps thereon, and seven pipes to the seven lamps, which
are upon the top thereof: {3} And two olive trees by it, one upon the
right side of the bowl, and the other upon the left side thereof. {4}
So I answered and spake to the angel that talked with me, saying, What are these,
my lord? {5} Then the angel that talked with me answered and said unto
me, Knowest thou not what these be? And I said, No, my lord. {6} Then
he answered and spake unto me, saying, This is the word of the LORD unto Zerubbabel,
saying, Not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit, saith the LORD of hosts.
{7} Who art thou, O great mountain? before Zerubbabel thou shalt become
a plain: and he shall bring forth the headstone thereof with shoutings, crying,
Grace, grace unto it. {8} Moreover the word of the LORD came unto me,
saying, {9} The hands of Zerubbabel have laid the foundation of this
house; his hands shall also finish it; and thou shalt know that the LORD of hosts
hath sent me unto you. {10} For who hath despised the day of small
things? for they shall rejoice, and shall see the plummet in the hand of Zerubbabel
with those seven; they are the eyes of the LORD, which run to and fro through
the whole earth. {11} Then answered I, and said unto him, What are
these two olive trees upon the right side of the candlestick and upon the left
side thereof? {12} And I answered again, and said unto him, What be
these two olive branches which through the two golden pipes empty the golden oil
out of themselves? {13} And he answered me and said, Knowest thou not
what these be? And I said, No, my lord. {14} Then said he, These are
the two anointed ones, that stand by the LORD of the whole earth.
Revelation -- 14{1}
And I looked, and, lo, a Lamb stood on the mount Sion, and with him an hundred
forty and four thousand, having his Father's name written in their foreheads.
{2} And I heard a voice from heaven, as the voice of many waters, and as
the voice of a great thunder: and I heard the voice of harpers harping with their
harps: {3} And they sung as it were a new song before the throne, and
before the four beasts, and the elders: and no man could learn that song but the
hundred and forty and four thousand, which were redeemed from the earth. {4}
These are they which were not defiled with women; for they are virgins. These
are they which follow the Lamb whithersoever he goeth. These were redeemed from
among men, being the firstfruits unto God and to the Lamb. {5} And
in their mouth was found no guile: for they are without fault before the throne
of God. {6} And I saw another angel fly in the midst of heaven, having
the everlasting gospel to preach unto them that dwell on the earth, and to every
nation, and kindred, and tongue, and people, {7} Saying with a loud
voice, Fear God, and give glory to him; for the hour of his judgment is come:
and worship him that made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of
waters. {8} And there followed another angel, saying, Babylon is fallen,
is fallen, that great city, because she made all nations drink of the wine of
the wrath of her fornication. {9} And the third angel followed them,
saying with a loud voice, If any man worship the beast and his image, and receive
his mark in his forehead, or in his hand, {10} The same shall drink
of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the
cup of his indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the
presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb: {11}
And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever: and they have no
rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receiveth
the mark of his name. {12} Here is the patience of the saints: here
are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus. {13}
And I heard a voice from heaven saying unto me, Write, Blessed are the dead which
die in the Lord from henceforth: Yea, saith the Spirit, that they may rest from
their labours; and their works do follow them. {14} And I looked, and
behold a white cloud, and upon the cloud one sat like unto the Son of man, having
on his head a golden crown, and in his hand a sharp sickle. {15} And
another angel came out of the temple, crying with a loud voice to him that sat
on the cloud, Thrust in thy sickle, and reap: for the time is come for thee to
reap; for the harvest of the earth is ripe. {16} And he that sat on
the cloud thrust in his sickle on the earth; and the earth was reaped. {17}
And another angel came out of the temple which is in heaven, he also having a
sharp sickle. {18} And another angel came out from the altar, which
had power over fire; and cried with a loud cry to him that had the sharp sickle,
saying, Thrust in thy sharp sickle, and gather the clusters of the vine of the
earth; for her grapes are fully ripe. {19} And the angel thrust in
his sickle into the earth, and gathered the vine of the earth, and cast it into
the great winepress of the wrath of God. {20} And the winepress was
trodden without the city, and blood came out of the winepress, even unto the horse
bridles, by the space of a thousand and six hundred furlongs.
