The Bible In One Year Bible Reading For Day Number - 225 Psalms
-- 99{1} The LORD
reigneth; let the people tremble: he sitteth between the cherubims; let the earth
be moved. {2} The LORD is great in Zion; and he is high above all the
people. {3} Let them praise thy great and terrible name; for it is
holy. {4} The king's strength also loveth judgment; thou dost establish
equity, thou executest judgment and righteousness in Jacob. {5} Exalt
ye the LORD our God, and worship at his footstool; for he is holy. {6}
Moses and Aaron among his priests, and Samuel among them that call upon his name;
they called upon the LORD, and he answered them. {7} He spake unto
them in the cloudy pillar: they kept his testimonies, and the ordinance that he
gave them. {8} Thou answeredst them, O LORD our God: thou wast a God
that forgavest them, though thou tookest vengeance of their inventions. {9}
Exalt the LORD our God, and worship at his holy hill; for the LORD our God is
holy. Psalms
-- 100{1} Make
a joyful noise unto the LORD, all ye lands. {2} Serve the LORD with
gladness: come before his presence with singing. {3} Know ye that the
LORD he is God: it is he that hath made us, and not we ourselves; we are his people,
and the sheep of his pasture. {4} Enter into his gates with thanksgiving,
and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name.
{5} For the LORD is good; his mercy is everlasting; and his truth endureth
to all generations. Psalms
-- 101{1} I will
sing of mercy and judgment: unto thee, O LORD, will I sing. {2} I will
behave myself wisely in a perfect way. O when wilt thou come unto me? I will walk
within my house with a perfect heart. {3} I will set no wicked thing
before mine eyes: I hate the work of them that turn aside; it shall not cleave
to me. {4} A froward heart shall depart from me: I will not know a
wicked person. {5} Whoso privily slandereth his neighbour, him will
I cut off: him that hath an high look and a proud heart will not I suffer.
{6} Mine eyes shall be upon the faithful of the land, that they may dwell
with me: he that walketh in a perfect way, he shall serve me. {7} He
that worketh deceit shall not dwell within my house: he that telleth lies shall
not tarry in my sight. {8} I will early destroy all the wicked of the
land; that I may cut off all wicked doers from the city of the LORD.
Psalms -- 102{1}
Hear my prayer, O LORD, and let my cry come unto thee. {2} Hide not
thy face from me in the day when I am in trouble; incline thine ear unto me: in
the day when I call answer me speedily. {3} For my days are consumed
like smoke, and my bones are burned as an hearth. {4} My heart is smitten,
and withered like grass; so that I forget to eat my bread. {5} By reason
of the voice of my groaning my bones cleave to my skin. {6} I am like
a pelican of the wilderness: I am like an owl of the desert. {7} I
watch, and am as a sparrow alone upon the house top. {8} Mine enemies
reproach me all the day; and they that are mad against me are sworn against me.
{9} For I have eaten ashes like bread, and mingled my drink with weeping,
{10} Because of thine indignation and thy wrath: for thou hast lifted me
up, and cast me down. {11} My days are like a shadow that declineth;
and I am withered like grass. {12} But thou, O LORD, shalt endure for
ever; and thy remembrance unto all generations. {13} Thou shalt arise,
and have mercy upon Zion: for the time to favour her, yea, the set time, is come.
{14} For thy servants take pleasure in her stones, and favour the dust
thereof. {15} So the heathen shall fear the name of the LORD, and all
the kings of the earth thy glory. {16} When the LORD shall build up
Zion, he shall appear in his glory. {17} He will regard the prayer
of the destitute, and not despise their prayer. {18} This shall be
written for the generation to come: and the people which shall be created shall
praise the LORD. {19} For he hath looked down from the height of his
sanctuary; from heaven did the LORD behold the earth; {20} To hear
the groaning of the prisoner; to loose those that are appointed to death;
{21} To declare the name of the LORD in Zion, and his praise in Jerusalem;
{22} When the people are gathered together, and the kingdoms, to serve
the LORD. {23} He weakened my strength in the way; he shortened my
days. {24} I said, O my God, take me not away in the midst of my days:
thy years are throughout all generations. {25} Of old hast thou laid
the foundation of the earth: and the heavens are the work of thy hands. {26}
They shall perish, but thou shalt endure: yea, all of them shall wax old like
a garment; as a vesture shalt thou change them, and they shall be changed:
{27} But thou art the same, and thy years shall have no end. {28}
The children of thy servants shall continue, and their seed shall be established
before thee. Romans
-- 14{1}
Him that is weak in the faith receive ye, but not to doubtful disputations.
{2} For one believeth that he may eat all things: another, who is weak,
eateth herbs. {3} Let not him that eateth despise him that eateth not;
and let not him which eateth not judge him that eateth: for God hath received
him. {4} Who art thou that judgest another man's servant? to his own
master he standeth or falleth. Yea, he shall be holden up: for God is able to
make him stand. {5} One man esteemeth one day above another: another
esteemeth every day alike. Let every man be fully persuaded in his own mind.
{6} He that regardeth the day, regardeth it unto the Lord; and he that
regardeth not the day, to the Lord he doth not regard it. He that eateth, eateth
to the Lord, for he giveth God thanks; and he that eateth not, to the Lord he
eateth not, and giveth God thanks. {7} For none of us liveth to himself,
and no man dieth to himself. {8} For whether we live, we live unto
the Lord; and whether we die, we die unto the Lord: whether we live therefore,
or die, we are the Lord's. {9} For to this end Christ both died, and
rose, and revived, that he might be Lord both of the dead and living. {10}
But why dost thou judge thy brother? or why dost thou set at nought thy brother?
for we shall all stand before the judgment seat of Christ. {11} For
it is written, As I live, saith the Lord, every knee shall bow to me, and every
tongue shall confess to God. {12} So then every one of us shall give
account of himself to God. {13} Let us not therefore judge one another
any more: but judge this rather, that no man put a stumblingblock or an occasion
to fall in his brother's way. {14} I know, and am persuaded by the
Lord Jesus, that there is nothing unclean of itself: but to him that esteemeth
any thing to be unclean, to him it is unclean. {15} But if thy brother
be grieved with thy meat, now walkest thou not charitably. Destroy not him with
thy meat, for whom Christ died. {16} Let not then your good be evil
spoken of: {17} For the kingdom of God is not meat and drink; but righteousness,
and peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost. {18} For he that in these things
serveth Christ is acceptable to God, and approved of men. {19} Let
us therefore follow after the things which make for peace, and things wherewith
one may edify another. {20} For meat destroy not the work of God. All
things indeed are pure; but it is evil for that man who eateth with offence.
{21} It is good neither to eat flesh, nor to drink wine, nor any thing
whereby thy brother stumbleth, or is offended, or is made weak. {22}
Hast thou faith? have it to thyself before God. Happy is he that condemneth not
himself in that thing which he alloweth. {23} And he that doubteth
is damned if he eat, because he eateth not of faith: for whatsoever is not of
faith is sin.
