The Bible In One Year Bible Reading For Day Number - 220 Psalms
-- 85{1} LORD,
thou hast been favourable unto thy land: thou hast brought back the captivity
of Jacob. {2} Thou hast forgiven the iniquity of thy people, thou hast
covered all their sin. Selah. {3} Thou hast taken away all thy wrath:
thou hast turned thyself from the fierceness of thine anger. {4} Turn
us, O God of our salvation, and cause thine anger toward us to cease. {5}
Wilt thou be angry with us for ever? wilt thou draw out thine anger to all generations?
{6} Wilt thou not revive us again: that thy people may rejoice in thee?
{7} Shew us thy mercy, O LORD, and grant us thy salvation. {8}
I will hear what God the LORD will speak: for he will speak peace unto his people,
and to his saints: but let them not turn again to folly. {9} Surely
his salvation is nigh them that fear him; that glory may dwell in our land.
{10} Mercy and truth are met together; righteousness and peace have kissed
each other. {11} Truth shall spring out of the earth; and righteousness
shall look down from heaven. {12} Yea, the LORD shall give that which
is good; and our land shall yield her increase. {13} Righteousness
shall go before him; and shall set us in the way of his steps.
Psalms -- 86{1}
Bow down thine ear, O LORD, hear me: for I am poor and needy. {2} Preserve
my soul; for I am holy: O thou my God, save thy servant that trusteth in thee.
{3} Be merciful unto me, O Lord: for I cry unto thee daily. {4}
Rejoice the soul of thy servant: for unto thee, O Lord, do I lift up my soul.
{5} For thou, Lord, art good, and ready to forgive; and plenteous in mercy
unto all them that call upon thee. {6} Give ear, O LORD, unto my prayer;
and attend to the voice of my supplications. {7} In the day of my trouble
I will call upon thee: for thou wilt answer me. {8} Among the gods
there is none like unto thee, O Lord; neither are there any works like unto thy
works. {9} All nations whom thou hast made shall come and worship before
thee, O Lord; and shall glorify thy name. {10} For thou art great,
and doest wondrous things: thou art God alone. {11} Teach me thy way,
O LORD; I will walk in thy truth: unite my heart to fear thy name. {12}
I will praise thee, O Lord my God, with all my heart: and I will glorify thy name
for evermore. {13} For great is thy mercy toward me: and thou hast
delivered my soul from the lowest hell. {14} O God, the proud are risen
against me, and the assemblies of violent men have sought after my soul; and have
not set thee before them. {15} But thou, O Lord, art a God full of
compassion, and gracious, longsuffering, and plenteous in mercy and truth.
{16} O turn unto me, and have mercy upon me; give thy strength unto thy
servant, and save the son of thine handmaid. {17} Shew me a token for
good; that they which hate me may see it, and be ashamed: because thou, LORD,
hast holpen me, and comforted me. Psalms
-- 87{1} His foundation
is in the holy mountains. {2} The LORD loveth the gates of Zion more
than all the dwellings of Jacob. {3} Glorious things are spoken of
thee, O city of God. Selah. {4} I will make mention of Rahab and Babylon
to them that know me: behold Philistia, and Tyre, with Ethiopia; this man was
born there. {5} And of Zion it shall be said, This and that man was
born in her: and the highest himself shall establish her. {6} The LORD
shall count, when he writeth up the people, that this man was born there. Selah.
{7} As well the singers as the players on instruments shall be there: all
my springs are in thee. Romans
-- 10{1}
Brethren, my heart's desire and prayer to God for Israel is, that they might be
saved. {2} For I bear them record that they have a zeal of God, but
not according to knowledge. {3} For they being ignorant of God's righteousness,
and going about to establish their own righteousness, have not submitted themselves
unto the righteousness of God. {4} For Christ is the end of the law
for righteousness to every one that believeth. {5} For Moses describeth
the righteousness which is of the law, That the man which doeth those things shall
live by them. {6} But the righteousness which is of faith speaketh
on this wise, Say not in thine heart, Who shall ascend into heaven? (that is,
to bring Christ down from above:) {7} Or, Who shall descend into the
deep? (that is, to bring up Christ again from the dead.) {8} But what
saith it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is,
the word of faith, which we preach; {9} That if thou shalt confess
with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath
raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. {10} For with the heart
man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
{11} For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed.
{12} For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the
same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him. {13} For whosoever
shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. {14} How then
shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe
in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher?
{15} And how shall they preach, except they be sent? as it is written,
How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring
glad tidings of good things! {16} But they have not all obeyed the
gospel. For Esaias saith, Lord, who hath believed our report? {17}
So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. {18}
But I say, Have they not heard? Yes verily, their sound went into all the earth,
and their words unto the ends of the world. {19} But I say, Did not
Israel know? First Moses saith, I will provoke you to jealousy by them that are
no people, and by a foolish nation I will anger you. {20} But Esaias
is very bold, and saith, I was found of them that sought me not; I was made manifest
unto them that asked not after me. {21} But to Israel he saith, All
day long I have stretched forth my hands unto a disobedient and gainsaying people.
