The Bible In One Year Bible Reading For Day Number -212 Psalms
-- 65{1} Praise
waiteth for thee, O God, in Sion: and unto thee shall the vow be performed.
{2} O thou that hearest prayer, unto thee shall all flesh come. {3}
Iniquities prevail against me: as for our transgressions, thou shalt purge them
away. {4} Blessed is the man whom thou choosest, and causest to approach
unto thee, that he may dwell in thy courts: we shall be satisfied with the goodness
of thy house, even of thy holy temple. {5} By terrible things in righteousness
wilt thou answer us, O God of our salvation; who art the confidence of all the
ends of the earth, and of them that are afar off upon the sea: {6}
Which by his strength setteth fast the mountains; being girded with power:
{7} Which stilleth the noise of the seas, the noise of their waves, and
the tumult of the people. {8} They also that dwell in the uttermost
parts are afraid at thy tokens: thou makest the outgoings of the morning and evening
to rejoice. {9} Thou visitest the earth, and waterest it: thou greatly
enrichest it with the river of God, which is full of water: thou preparest them
corn, when thou hast so provided for it. {10} Thou waterest the ridges
thereof abundantly: thou settlest the furrows thereof: thou makest it soft with
showers: thou blessest the springing thereof. {11} Thou crownest the
year with thy goodness; and thy paths drop fatness. {12} They drop
upon the pastures of the wilderness: and the little hills rejoice on every side.
{13} The pastures are clothed with flocks; the valleys also are covered
over with corn; they shout for joy, they also sing. Psalms
-- 66{1} Make
a joyful noise unto God, all ye lands: {2} Sing forth the honour of
his name: make his praise glorious. {3} Say unto God, How terrible
art thou in thy works! through the greatness of thy power shall thine enemies
submit themselves unto thee. {4} All the earth shall worship thee,
and shall sing unto thee; they shall sing to thy name. Selah. {5} Come
and see the works of God: he is terrible in his doing toward the children of men.
{6} He turned the sea into dry land: they went through the flood on foot:
there did we rejoice in him. {7} He ruleth by his power for ever; his
eyes behold the nations: let not the rebellious exalt themselves. Selah. {8}
O bless our God, ye people, and make the voice of his praise to be heard:
{9} Which holdeth our soul in life, and suffereth not our feet to be moved.
{10} For thou, O God, hast proved us: thou hast tried us, as silver is
tried. {11} Thou broughtest us into the net; thou laidst affliction
upon our loins. {12} Thou hast caused men to ride over our heads; we
went through fire and through water: but thou broughtest us out into a wealthy
place. {13} I will go into thy house with burnt offerings: I will pay
thee my vows, {14} Which my lips have uttered, and my mouth hath spoken,
when I was in trouble. {15} I will offer unto thee burnt sacrifices
of fatlings, with the incense of rams; I will offer bullocks with goats. Selah.
{16} Come and hear, all ye that fear God, and I will declare what he hath
done for my soul. {17} I cried unto him with my mouth, and he was extolled
with my tongue. {18} If I regard iniquity in my heart, the Lord will
not hear me: {19} But verily God hath heard me; he hath attended to
the voice of my prayer. {20} Blessed be God, which hath not turned
away my prayer, nor his mercy from me. Psalms
-- 67{1} God be
merciful unto us, and bless us; and cause his face to shine upon us; Selah.
{2} That thy way may be known upon earth, thy saving health among all nations.
{3} Let the people praise thee, O God; let all the people praise thee.
{4} O let the nations be glad and sing for joy: for thou shalt judge the
people righteously, and govern the nations upon earth. Selah. {5} Let
the people praise thee, O God; let all the people praise thee. {6}
Then shall the earth yield her increase; and God, even our own God, shall bless
us. {7} God shall bless us; and all the ends of the earth shall fear
him. Romans --
2{1}
Therefore thou art inexcusable, O man, whosoever thou art that judgest: for wherein
thou judgest another, thou condemnest thyself; for thou that judgest doest the
same things. {2} But we are sure that the judgment of God is according
to truth against them which commit such things. {3} And thinkest thou
this, O man, that judgest them which do such things, and doest the same, that
thou shalt escape the judgment of God? {4} Or despisest thou the riches
of his goodness and forbearance and longsuffering; not knowing that the goodness
of God leadeth thee to repentance? {5} But after thy hardness and impenitent
heart treasurest up unto thyself wrath against the day of wrath and revelation
of the righteous judgment of God; {6} Who will render to every man
according to his deeds: {7} To them who by patient continuance in well
doing seek for glory and honour and immortality, eternal life: {8}
But unto them that are contentious, and do not obey the truth, but obey unrighteousness,
indignation and wrath, {9} Tribulation and anguish, upon every soul
of man that doeth evil, of the Jew first, and also of the Gentile; {10}
But glory, honour, and peace, to every man that worketh good, to the Jew first,
and also to the Gentile: {11} For there is no respect of persons with
God. {12} For as many as have sinned without law shall also perish
without law: and as many as have sinned in the law shall be judged by the law;
{13} (For not the hearers of the law are just before God, but the doers
of the law shall be justified. {14} For when the Gentiles, which have
not the law, do by nature the things contained in the law, these, having not the
law, are a law unto themselves: {15} Which shew the work of the law
written in their hearts, their conscience also bearing witness, and their thoughts
the mean while accusing or else excusing one another;) {16} In the
day when God shall judge the secrets of men by Jesus Christ according to my gospel.
{17} Behold, thou art called a Jew, and restest in the law, and makest
thy boast of God, {18} And knowest his will, and approvest the things
that are more excellent, being instructed out of the law; {19} And
art confident that thou thyself art a guide of the blind, a light of them which
are in darkness, {20} An instructor of the foolish, a teacher of babes,
which hast the form of knowledge and of the truth in the law. {21}
Thou therefore which teachest another, teachest thou not thyself? thou that preachest
a man should not steal, dost thou steal? {22} Thou that sayest a man
should not commit adultery, dost thou commit adultery? thou that abhorrest idols,
dost thou commit sacrilege? {23} Thou that makest thy boast of the
law, through breaking the law dishonourest thou God? {24} For the name
of God is blasphemed among the Gentiles through you, as it is written. {25}
For circumcision verily profiteth, if thou keep the law: but if thou be a breaker
of the law, thy circumcision is made uncircumcision. {26} Therefore
if the uncircumcision keep the righteousness of the law, shall not his uncircumcision
be counted for circumcision? {27} And shall not uncircumcision which
is by nature, if it fulfil the law, judge thee, who by the letter and circumcision
dost transgress the law? {28} For he is not a Jew, which is one outwardly;
neither is that circumcision, which is outward in the flesh: {29} But
he is a Jew, which is one inwardly; and circumcision is that of the heart, in
the spirit, and not in the letter; whose praise is not of men, but of God.
